In 2019, I finally made it to Switzerland — and started off with the stunning city of Zurich!
Zurich had this perfect blend of old-world charm and modern elegance. The city was super clean, peaceful, and surrounded by incredible natural beauty. I loved wandering around the Altstadt (Old Town), with its cobblestone streets, quaint cafes, and beautifully preserved medieval buildings. Every corner looked like a postcard.
Lake Zurich was another highlight — the view was insane. The crystal-clear water with the snow-capped Alps in the background made it feel like a painting. We even took a boat ride, which was both relaxing and unreal in terms of scenery.
And the chocolate? Next level. I basically lived off Swiss chocolate and cheese the whole trip — no regrets! 😄
Zurich felt calm, classy, and refreshingly beautiful. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left.
